On May 21 and 22 master Ko Baek-yong will teach an introduction course to hankido on the island of Mallorca. In May master Ko will tour Europe to promote hankido and hankumdo, the seminar on the island is master Ko Baek-yong’s first visit to Spain.
In preparation of master Ko Baek-yong’s upcoming visit to Finland in May of this year, instructor Klaas Barends from the Dutch Hankido Federation visited Finland for a weekend filled with hankido and hankumdo training.
For the upcoming seminars we have designed a new T-shirt. The T-shirt is made of 100% polyester and available in different sizes and colours.

For those who aren’t afraid of a bit of cold and snow we offer the possibility to participate in the HKD Winter Seminar in Lohja, Finland. The seminar will span three days from February 5 until 7. Instructor Klaas Barends from the Netherlands will be teaching both Hankido and Hankumdo.
Registration for the Hankimuye Summer Camp 2016 is now open. The summer camp will take place from August 1, 2016 until August 12. Two weeks of full time hankido and hankumdo training at the Hankimuye headquarters in South-Korea.
After master Luiz Miele and his students visited the Hankimuye headquarters in Korea earlier this year, it was now time for Klaas Barends to pay a visit to Brazil. At the invitation of Luiz and his students Klaas spent twelve days in São Paulo. His main mission was to teach hankumdo.
Instructor Klaas Barends will be traveling to Brazil to meet and train with members of the Brazilian Hankimuye Group. On September 19 a seminar will take place in São Paulo.
At the end of the 120-hour HKD course most of the participants were deemed eligible to test for their next belt. Four people tested for their next geup, while nine people test for their first, second or even third dan.
