In October five members from the United States and Texas visited the Hankimuye headquarters in Incheon to take part in the first Hankimuye Fall Seminars. For two weeks they trained three to four times a day under the guidance of master Ko Baek-yong.
At the moment one of our international instructors, Klaas Barends, is teaching a series of seminar in the USA. After seminars in New York City, Klaas taught seminars at the Hankido school of instructor Ron Woord in Plattsburgh (NY).

The last training in IJsselstein was attended by students from every corner of the country. We had a great time with master Ko Baek-yong explaining the harmony principle. One last group photo and it was time to say good bye. Looking forward to our next international seminar all ready.
On Wednesday we visited Amsterdam. After a walk along the canals and shopping for some souvenirs it was time to teach a class with the students of Chongmukwan.
April 27, 2014 was an historic day for our federation. We officially announced our organisation and what better way to start than with a seminar? Just like the day before we taught all three HKD’s, with master Yang Yong-seok. teaching hapkido kicking, master Ko Baek-yong teaching hankido self defence and master Ko Se-hwan teaching hankumdo.
Our first big open seminar in the Netherlands took place in Urk. In total more than 40 people attended the seminars. The seminars started with a session in traditional hapkido kicking with master Yang Yong-seok. The second part was for master Ko Baek-yong who taught hankido self defence. On our first full day in the Netherlands we taught two classes at Baekyongkwan in Alphen. In Alphen one of our federation’s national instructors, Jenne Meyster (5th dan), teaches several classes with the help of a team of loyal instructors.
Today was our last day in Finland. Tomorrow we will fly to the Netherlands, where we will stay until Saturday May 3. We taught one final seminar on this last day and had a great time. Everyone was wearing his or her fresh new belt and was extra motivated to make the last seminar count.
