Technical test for sixth dan

Posted on 07.24.15 by klaasb

In the Netherlands at the new gym of Chongmukwan instructors Ko Sehwan and Klaas Barends passed the technical part of their sixth dan test.

Test

Both gentleman tested in front of panel consisting of masters Ko Baek-yong (9th dan), Yang Yong-seok (9th dan) and Leon de Heus (7th dan). The technical part of the sixth dan exam counts for fifty precent of the test. Both Sehwan and Klaas will still have to write a dissertation on the three H.K.D.’s of hankido, hapkido and hankumdo. When these dissertations are approved they will receive their sixth dan certificate from the World Hankimuye Federation.

120 hour seminar

The test took place at the end of the fifth day of the 120 hour seminar that is now going on in the Netherlands. Around 15 pupils are training 10 hours a day for 12 days in hankido, hapkido and hankumdo. Some of them will test for their first or second dan next week Friday.
