Our federation’s leaders have developed three new certification programs. Next to rearranging the black belt requirements for hankido and hankumdo a new instructor certification program is introduced.
Want to train martial arts in Korea? In the spring of 2018 our federation will host a two week hankimuye seminar at our new headquarters in Seosan, South-Korea. Two weeks filled with quality hankido, hapkido and hankumdo training.
Leon de Heus tested in front of master Ko Baek-yong and master Yang Yong-seok for his eight dan at the future headquarters of the World Hankimuye Federation. Leon was invited to test for this eight dan earlier this year and the test was supposed to take place in the Netherlands.
The Hankimuye Summer Seminars 2016 have come to an end. We shared the mat with a group of very enthusiastic hankido practitioners. Training, sleeping and eating 24/7 at the headquarters of our federation in Incheon, South-Korea. The official seminars lasted two weeks, but some people decided to stay a week longer. Master Ko Baek-yong arrived in the Netherlands where he will kick off the European Hankimuye Seminars of 2016. Master Ko will also travel to Finland and Spain to teach hankido.
Instructor Klaas Barends will be traveling to Brazil to meet and train with members of the Brazilian Hankimuye Group. On September 19 a seminar will take place in São Paulo.

In October five members from the United States and Texas visited the Hankimuye headquarters in Incheon to take part in the first Hankimuye Fall Seminars. For two weeks they trained three to four times a day under the guidance of master Ko Baek-yong.
