Hankimuye Summer Camp 2016
Registration for the Hankimuye Summer Camp 2016 is now open. The summer camp will take place from August 1, 2016 until August 12. Two weeks of full time hankido and hankumdo training at the Hankimuye headquarters in South-Korea.
Save the date
The official training program will start on Monday August 1, but participants should arrive in the weekend of July 30-31. The official last training is on Friday August 12, you should book your flight back in the weekend of August 13-14. You also have the possibility to train one extra week from August 15 until 19.
Program
From Monday till Friday there will be four training sessions every day. Adding up to eight hours of daily training. On Saturday morning there is one session, Sunday is your day off.
7:00 AM – 8:00 AM
We start the day with a session in the park. Here we practice hankido visualization techniques and forms.
10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
The morning is filled with self defense training. Three blocks of 50 minutes each with a ten minute break in between the blocks. Two blocks are filled with hankido self defense, the other block with falling and/or kicking.
2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Two blocks of Hankumdo sword training in the afternoon.
8:00 PM – 10:00 PM
The evening session is filled with miscellaneous practice.
Costs
The cost is 100 USD per day. WHMAF members pay 500 USD per week (a 200 USD discount!). For this price you will receive instruction, three meals a day and a place to sleep. (in the weekends only breakfast is served)
This price does not include your airfare to and from South-Korea.
